We are two!!

The twins turned 2 on August 25th. It is amazing that two years have already gone by with the kids. We celebrated with a birthday party out in Colorado with Jill's family, a party in Minnesota with Joe's family and a boat cruise on Lake Minnetonka with just our family. The summer flew by this year with three weddings and four airplane trips. The kids are becoming avid travelers now.

Adam and Dylan are both expanding their skills at an amazing rate. They still are best buddies and play together well most of the time. Here are some recent pictures...

Jeanette and UV were married last weekend. Adam and Dylan were ring bearers and they did a great job walking down the aisle! Joe performed the cermony. Below are some pictures from the fun weekend..

Where have we been?

This blog post is long overdue. We have been neglecting the blog but we are back! Time seems to go by fast two toddlers. The kids are doing great. They are talking up a storm and repeat everything you say. We were in Colorado for a week on vacation last week . Unfortunately we all got pink eye. We had planned to go to Colorado Springs to meet our new nephew but with pink eye we couldn't risk giving it to the baby. So the week was spent in Breckenridge. Joe got in some good training for his 100 mile race in Colorado in August and the kids went on their first hike. Last weekend the kids ran in their first race - the Minnetomka tot trot.

Easter Egg Hunt

We took the kids to an Easter Egg Hunt in Excelsior this morning. It was a beautiful day to be outside and by the lake. There were quite a few people there and it was a bit crazy but the kids had a great time. Their favorite part was the fire truck. Here are some pictures:

This is one of their favorite things to do. They come out of the closet all dressed for winter. They put on the scarves, hats and mittens. Pretty funny...

Ski Trip

We went Colorado last week to visit Jill's family. The kids had a great time playing with their cousin Sam in Colorado Springs and visiting their grandparents in Breckenridge. Joe and I got in a few days skiing which was fun.
