Four Months Old!!

The boys are four months old today - on Christmas day no less. They are both developing quickly, as Adam has found his voice and continues to 'speak' to us in different speach patterns. He also has also started sucking his thumb. Dylan has recently discovered his arms and hands, and moves them around and grabs toys on his own. They are both starting to become ticklish.

Both wanted to say hi to everyone during this holiday season, and if they have not gotten a chance to see you, hope to do so in the coming year. Both are looking forward to a new year of growth and discovery.

Three Months Old!

The boys are now three months old today. They are growing every day - Adam is now bigger than Dylan. They are also learning new things - they are more responsive to our voices and smile from time to time. They are also sleeping a little bit more at night. Here are some pictures of them today at three months.

Bumbo time

Adam's first time in a bumbo!

Dylan's first time in a bumbo!

The twins continue to get bigger everyday now. They're holding their heads up and both smiling a lot. It's great to watch as things change daily. Adam had hernia surgery on Friday at Children's. It was a routine operation but since he was a premie had to stay overnight at the hospital. Jill stayed at the hospital with Adam while Joe took care of Dylan. (Both Joe and Jill realized how much easier things would be with one baby!) Adam made it through surgery like a champ and already seems back to himself.

Twin Cities Marathon

The boys congratulated Dad on a great Twin Cities Marathon!

Enjoying the beautiful weather.

Just hanging out.

Is that a minivan?? I guess we are officially Parents now...

The twins enjoyed seeing their dad at the finish line of the Twin Cities marathon. Joe did great with a time of 2:59 despite the heat and humidity. We did purchase a minivan. From what we hear, it will be the best car we ever own. The twins continue to do well and are starting to sleep more at times.

The boys first dinner out!

September 25, 2007 - The boys turned 1 month old today, and they are doing well. Adam is finally getting some meat on his cheeks. They spent the day celebrating, imbibing on milk, sleeping in, and making noise. Overall they have been pleased with their first month, and have decided to continue this run and look forward to their second month and what it may bring.

Three Weeks Old

Saturday, September 15th - The boys are now three weeks old, and are getting used to life at home. Dylan stated "The beds are nicer here than the hospital, but overall the care has been not as solid" and Adam added "Nothing against this 'home life' but we seemed to have a lot more of a full service package at the hospital".

Regardless, things are going well. They have both had baths at home, and went on their first stroller ride around the neighborhood today and met a lot of their neighbors. Last night we had 4 hours between feedings, which is a record so far.
They have another doctor visit this coming week, but other than that the schedule looks like eat, sleep, repeat - in no particular order.
